Today I am thankful for...

Since everyone is posting what they're thankful for on Facebook, I thought I would do a post as well.  I am very thankful for my friends today (and everyday).  Since things have calmed down on our renovations, I feel like I have more time to myself which has allowed me a chance to catch up with some of the ladies in my life.  I love that no matter how long it has been since we have talked, it seems like just yesterday.  I suppose that is a sign of a true friendship.

In particular, I spoke with one friend yesterday and our conversation was a great comfort to me.  It was nice to have someone who understood the things that I am going through and who didn't think I was a terrible person for thinking some of the things I think.  When all of this baby making is over, I hope that I can be that person to lean on for someone else...actually I wouldn't wish this on any one, but if it happens, then at least they would have me to vent to!

It's amazing how we can all get caught up in our own lives and not even realize it.  Thank goodness we all understand these things and have amazing friends who are there for us when we need them!  I love the ladies in my life!

Oh, how time flies!

Wow!  I can't believe that it's been so long since I've posted.  So much has happened and also not happened.  Specifically, we're not pregnant yet and are not moving to Marquette as planned.  First things first, I discovered that it is rather difficult to get ahold of DMC (Jon's insurance company) and therefore we had to push our IVF plans one month back.  I wasn't able to get my "Day 3" bloodwork done because my insurance hadn't kicked in yet so we have been given 1 more month to try to make it happen on our own.  At first I was pretty bummed, but then I came to the realization that it must have happened for a reason.  Hopefully that reason will be a good one!

On our plans of moving to Marquette, we did end up backing out of our business deal.  After numerous nights of going to bed thinking about it and then waking up thinking about it, we decided that it wasn't the right move for us at this time in our lives.  Unfortunately, I am not able to give out any further details as we did sign a confidentiality agreement and also I wouldn't want to hurt the current owners' business in any way.  In the end, I believe that we will be able to maintain a friendly relationship.

While we haven't given up on the dream of moving back to Marquette, we now have some time to relax and enjoy our house!  However, we do have some ideas up our sleeves and are now just seeing how they pan out.  I'll be sure to keep everyone updated!
